As a foreigner this app has proved invaluable to me, I never tried the lite version to know the difference, but for only .99 this is worth it. Been using for about a year now, and it gets updated regularly with improvements and route/line changes.

Line 4 on the Seoul Metro does not include Namyeong Station. Namyeong Station is on Line 1.
Its been quite helpful for the past few days. Worth $1.99 for sure. There, no option for details at Sports Complex. Thats a bummer. Hopefully will be added in an update soon. Right, JC Multimedia?
Line 5 is supposed to be purple. And dunchon-dong station is spelled incorrectly. I paid $1.99 for this app i would expect the creator to pay attention to details!
I got this App after buying a different one that left me in the subway station looking crazy because I couldnt figure out where I was going. This is by far the best subway App I have used. It lest you pick your starting and ending station by name, whats cloest on a map to a point youre goiing, or which one is cloest to you. Starting and tranfer stations have an accurate train schedule so you know how long your wait is. The GPS and Google Maps function is awesome because if you going sightseeing like I do you might end up far from your starting place. Just use the GPS and it will point you to the cloest station and from there it will get you to where you need to go. I didnt use the Lite version but I would gladly have paid more for this one. This is the App youre looking for!
But for some reason it calculates the time between every stop at 2 minutes. I keep forgetting and now Im late again. They can fix this pretty easily, I wish they would.
The times are way off. Why even have times if they are just going to calculate 2 mins for each stop? I can multiple by two. 10 mins to Incheon airport when it is 30 mins from Gimpo. I do use it often but the times are way optimistic.
A well put together app with great features. So much more than just a map, but DESPERATELY needs an update.
The SW was working great, with the exception that it did not have all the new subway lines added . Now, it crashes during routing calculation. Please fix, I use this app everyday.
Crashes and does not have new lines.
The app itself is really easy to use. However, updates are needed. A new line opened in October - its December and theres still no update. As a PAID app, this should have happened immediately. Some of the travel times are off - it takes way longer than 16 mins to get from Seoul Stn to Incheon Airport even on the express line. Additionally, it would be nice to have a feature to view travel times with alternate routes, or to create a 3-legged trip..
When I got this app on my iPod touch in March, I loved it. The most recent update had been the end of Feb. and I was cruising around pretty well. By the time I got my iPhone in June, I discovered I ended up late a lot. The app was inaccurate and crashed a lot. now its December and the app still has no updates. This shouldnt be a paid app anymore if its not going to be updated. Pros: you can still see the old lines and chart a basic path. Its got a nice station search interface that I like more than the one from its otherwise superior competitor Jihachul. If youre looking for a paid app, get Jihachul, at least until this one finally gets a refurbish.
I really liked this app but it never gets updated. The Seoul subway line has changed tremendously and now this app is detrimental to finding a location.
Please do an update for this app to keep it current. The app crashes most of the time when you switch between searching by name, searching nearby, and searching on map. So it makes it impossible to simply click search nearby, then find your destination by name. Also, it would be helpful if the app told us what the end station or major station on the line is in the direction were going. Signs in Seoul often do not show the next station until you get to the platform, the signs do mostly tell the terminal station. We have to look at the map to find the terminal station to know which platform to go to. Other than that the app is pretty good.
Crashes immediately after start up on both iphone and ipad. Ipad viewing area is the same size as iphone. Are you kidding? Why even say it is compatible with ipad? Very disappointed.
It does not have the correct times at Jiheang station and it crashes constantly! Please fix it!
The dot for Namyeong Station is missing, even though the label is there, making it easily confused with Sookmyeong Womens University. Cost me 15 minutes and a job interview. Crashy, train times are off, out of date, used to be a good app.
So far this is the best app of its sort in English Ive found. You tell it where you are, where you want to go and it programs what it believes to be the best route Flaws: a) Its timing of the trips isnt all that accurate so dont trust it b) You cant give bookmarked trips a name of your choosing --- which means youre forced to remember WHY you bookmarked it… so for instance the trip from my place to Lotte World is named by the station, NOT Lotte World. Ditto for the street market near a certain station, etc. This would be a really easy fix on their part. No idea why they dont do it c) it would be nice if we could have some choice in how many times we changed trains, opting for instance for the fewest changes instead of what the program thinks is the shortest route.
Any app that consistently crashes is worthless and a waste of money.
I always relied on this app until I noticed that it hasnt been updated in forever. There are many new lines now and the app hasnt been updated to show them. Get with the program and update already.
